Media transfer doesn't work through USB Cable (only for me)

settings > developer options > usb dubbing
  ....enable usb dubbing option..

Here's how to get them back:

1. Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number." (Your build number may vary from ours here.)
3. Tap it seven (7) times.

Networking

Select USB Configuration

Networking options provide ways to configure Wi-Fi and DHCP settings.
Tap Select USB Configuration to specify how you want the computer to identify the device. As shown in figure 5, you can configure devices for charging only, to transfer files (MTP), to transfer pictures (PTP), to use your mobile internet on the PC (RNDIS), or to transfer audio or MIDI files.

settings-->storage-->select sd card-->select the file which we want to copy from sd card to usb-->click on 3 dots (top right)(:)-->copy to...-->click on three parallel lines, shown on the top left corner(⬱)-->select USB DISK--->COPY
