How to remove an account:
There’s no option to sign out of the Gmail app for Android without removing your entire account from your phone or tablet.
- Go to your device’s Settings menu.
- Find the section for Accounts.
- Remove the account. (If your device has a three-dot menu at the top right, you can find the Remove account option there.)
