CanoScan LiDE 110 on Ubuntu 14.04

LiDE 210/110 scanner working under Ubuntu 10.10 you need to:

 $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:plaxx/random-fixes
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libsane sane-utils



Version 1.025-git fixed it for me.

and do this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rolfbensch/sane-git
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
