UBUNTU 18.04 (SCHOOL UBUNTU 2019) CLICK HERE...



1. വിൻഡോസ് ഉള്ള ഒരു കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിൽ ഉബണ്ടു കയറ്റാൻ ഒരു ഹാർഡ് ഡിസ്ക് ,മുഴുവനായി MBR (D0S) ഫോർമാറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് GPT ഫോർമാറ്റിലേക്ക് മാറ്റണം... ഇതിന് ഹാർഡ് ഡിസ്ക് ഫുൾ ആയി മായ്ക്കണം.... കാരണം MBR ഒരു ഹാർഡ് ഡിസ്കിനെ 4 ആക്കി മാത്രം പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ ചെയ്യാൻ അനുവദിക്കൂ... windows തന്നെ 3 പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കീട്ട് ഉണ്ടാകും, അതിൽ UBUntu വിന്റെ വീണ്ടും ഒരു 3 പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ കയറില്ല.
2. വിൻഡോസ് വേണ്ട എങ്കിൽ... യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ MBR(Dos) ൽ തന്നെ ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യാം..... കാരണം MBR നാല് പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ വരെ അനുവദിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ആ പാർട്ടിഷ്യനുകൾ   കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഉബണ്ടു ഇൻസ്റ്റാളാകും.(ഉബണ്ടുവിന് 3 പാർട്ടീഷ്യനായാലും മതി )
3. പാർട്ടീഷ്യൽ ചെക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ /GPT or MBR ആക്കാൻ
1. Ubuntu CD / USB Boot ചെയ്ത് കയറുക..
2. Try Ubuntu without installing എന്ന ആദ്യ ഓപ്ഷൻ എടുക്കുക
3. Application> system tools > GParted Partition Editor ....
4. Device-> Create Partition Table > ഇതിൽ MBR ആക്കാൻ msdos ഉം GPT ആക്കാൻ gpt യും Select ചെയ്യുക > Apply
Ubuntu 18.04 ന് മൂന്ന് പാർട്ടീഷനുകൾ

1. EFI System പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ (200 MB).... NB... ഇതിലാണ് GRUB.... ഇതില്ലെങ്കിൽ വിൻഡോസും, ഉബണ്ടുവും പരസ്പരം മാറ്റുന്ന Grub കിട്ടില്ല... ഇൻസ്റ്റലേഷൻ സമയത്ത് ശരിയായില്ലെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് ഇതിൽ GRUB നിർമ്മിക്കാം.. Help ഫയൽ കാണുക...

2. Swap area (RAM നേക്കാൾ 1GB കൂടുതൽ)

3. root Partition ... ex4 ഫോർമാറ്റ്.... മിനിമം 30GB വേണം.... മൗണ്ട് പോയന്റ് /....
Efi system partition നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ ചെല സമയങ്ങളിൽ പറ്റില്ല, അപ്പോൾ /boot എന്ന് നല്കി ആ 250 MB ഉണ്ടാക്കുക(use as ex4)..... windows 10 ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഓട്ടമാറ്റിക് ആയി  ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന Efi Partition ഇതിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കാനാകില്ല. Ubuntu ന് വേറെ വേണം നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ സാധ്യമല്ലെങ്കിൽ 250 MB ൽ /boot എന്ന പാർട്ടീഷ്യൻ നിർമ്മിക്കണം(use as ex4 )

പാർട്ടീഷൻ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ തെറ്റി ചെയ്താൽ Unused partition എന്നുള്ള രീതിയിൽ സെലക്ട് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാതെ ഹാർഡ് ഡിസ്ക് സ്പെയസ്കണ്ടാൽ രണ്ട് സെറ്റപ്പ് ബാക്കിൽ പോയി വീണ്ടും മുന്നോട്ട് വരുക... അപ്പോൾ ശരിയാകും

settings-->storage-->select sd card-->select the file which we want to copy from sd card to usb-->click on 3 dots (top right)(:)-->copy to...-->click on three parallel lines, shown on the top left corner(⬱)-->select USB DISK--->COPY

Stop automatically changing numbers to dates

Microsoft Excel is preprogrammed to make it easier to enter dates. For example, 12/2 changes to 2-Dec. This is very frustrating when you enter something that you don't want changed to a date. Unfortunately there is no way to turn this off. But there are ways to get around it.
Preformat the cells you want to enter numbers into as Text. This way Excel will not try to change what you enter into dates.

1. Select the cells that you’ll enter numbers into.
2. Press Ctrl + 1 (the 1 in the row of numbers above the QWERTY keys) to open Format Cells.
3. Select Text, and then click OK.

If you only have a few numbers to enter, you can stop Excel from changing them into dates by entering:

• A space before you enter a number. The space remains in the cell after you press Enter. (See Notes)
  
• An apostrophe (‘) before you enter a number, such as ’11-53 or ‘1/47. The apostrophe isn’t displayed in the cell after you press Enter.
  
• A zero and a space before you enter a fraction such as 1/2 or 3/4 so that they don’t change to 2-Jan or 4-Mar, for example. Type 0 1/2 or 0 3/4. The zero doesn’t remain in the cell after you press Enter, and the cell becomes the Fraction number type.
  
  Notes: 

  • We recommend using an apostrophe instead of a space for entering data if you plan on using lookup functions against the data. Functions like MATCH or VLOOKUP overlook the apostrophe when calculating the results.
    
  • If a number is left-aligned in a cell that usually means it isn’t formatted as a number.
    
  • If you type a number with an “e” in it, such as 1e9, it will automatically result in a scientific number: 1.00E+09. If you don’t want a scientific number, enter an apostrophe before the number: ‘1e9
    
  • Depending on the number entered, you may see a small green triangle in the upper left corner of the cell, indicating that a number is stored as text, which to Excel is an error. Either ignore the triangle, or click on it. A box will appear to the left. Click the box, and then select Ignore Error, which will make the triangle go away.
